Dress: Fleur Du Jour Dress $148 Sandals: Gladiator Sandals $60 on SALE (similar to mine)
This dress is seriously so comfy and a great fall transitioning piece, I wore this dress to walk around the market in Costa Rica, where is was a little cooler since I went during rainy season, but it was perfect for the weather. It’s off the shoulder but long sleeve, so it’s a great staple item that can be worn not only in summer, but transitioning into fall. I like to splurge on items I know I can wear more than once and this dress definitely fits that category. Its also a great length, even for me and I’m tall!
This dress would look so cute with a pair of booties for a cooler day! It also comes in 5 colors but the black is definitely a more versatile piece to be worn more often. I paired it with my gladiator sandals! How cool are these flowers? I went to the local market my first day in Costa Rica, I was in love with all the native flowers and fruits. Everything was so fresh and grown locally. I now have an obsession with plantanes after my Costa Rica trip! You have to try them (cooked of course).
At the market I visited you can walk around and try all the different fruits being sold, there was also candy and other homemade treats! I wasn’t in a touristy area so it was awesome to see the Costa Rican culture first hand. I was a little out of place being so tall lol.
P.S. to cook plantains the way I like them, I slice them just like a banana into medium thick slices and then add organic olive oil and butter. I use my cast iron skillet to cook them on medium heat until they are brown on both sides!Dress: Fleur Du Jour Dress $148 Sandals: Gladiator Sandals $60 on SALE (similar to mine)
