I wanted to share one of my favorite places with y’all today because I had an amazing time in Turks and Caicos. One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to, and plenty of luxurious resorts to stay at. The weather in Turks was great every day which is very common this time of year, perfect time to go! I am reviewing the two resorts I stayed at while on my trip, both were amazing!
The first resort I stayed at was called The Palms, for three nights out of our seven day trip to Turks. I picked this resort because it already had amazing reviews and an awesome view! I chose the King Suite room with pool view for my stay and it was fabulous. It was a gorgeous view of the pool and ocean. My room had a full living room and kitchen area, with a patio and sun chairs to relax on (fell asleep here one day). The bathroom was so pretty, (I know I’m talking about the bathroom) seriously it was luxurious. It had a jacuzzi and an open shower!
Let’s talk about the pool, the infinity pool was steps away from the ocean. I got poolside service every day and they also brought chilled towels and anything you could ever need. They definitely get a 10 for service from me, the staff was so friendly.

Loved the swim up bar where I enjoyed mimosa’s (many). They had so many snacks to choose from at the bar, all of which were yummy! There were plenty of chairs near the pool and it wasn’t over crowded.
The beach was steps away from the pool, where you can enjoy water sports, compliments of the resort. I went kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling. I recommend taking advantage of these things if you go since its included!
After a long day out in the sun, it was so relaxing to get a massage at their beautiful spa. This resort has it all, and the landscaping and grounds were beautiful. I really enjoyed my 120 minute (moonlight and stars) massage, couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The girls in the spa were so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely do this again!

The food at the resort was also great. We ate at all the restaurants at the resort, and I charged everything to my room since it’s so much easier to do it that way. Breakfast is complimentary and served as buffet style. Normally I am not impressed by buffet style breakfast at resorts, but they had so many choices that made it hard not to like. My favorite restaurant at the resort was called Parallel 23, a fine dining experience with delicious options. I always got shrimp, but the steak was also yummy!
We also walked down the beach for dinner one night and ate at Hemingway’s on the beach. The food was awesome and I enjoyed watching the sunset while sipping on a good mimosa…you can tell these are my favorite by now!
Overall I really enjoyed my stay at The Palms and definitely recommend staying here!
The Shore Club
The next place I stayed at in Turks was The Palms sister resort called The Shore Club. Y’all….this place tops them all! I can’t believe how beautiful the resort was! It just opened in December 2016, so it’s very posh and up to date. It was very quiet and relaxing, I got the ultimate room at this place and splurged on a two-bedroom executive penthouse with my girl! I am so glad we did because the view from our rooftop room was dreamy! Beautifully decorated and up to date! Loved this room so much, it was such a relaxing escape. The Penthouse was huge and came with everything we needed. We even had our own butler (her name was Shakira) make sure you ask for her if you ever stay here. She was the bomb! When we arrived, they had chilled champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in our room (those didn’t last long). Our room had a large balcony with floor to ceiling windows, and sliding doors to open and enjoy the nice breeze from the roof. We also had a huge terrace overlooking the ocean.
The pools at The Shore Club were beautiful, they had four pools to choose from, and an adult only pool beachfront with a swim-up bar.
The main pool also had a bar and private villas to relax at out of the sun. I spent most of my time at the adult pool and the main pool, where we got lunch every day. I loved the lunch menu with fresh and healthy options to choose from.

The beach at this resort was extremely secluded and private, the water was also waveless and shallow for as far out as I could get! Just make sure to pack your Chaco’s for this one so you don’t cut the bottom of your foot like I did. I was okay, nothing serious, but it’s a better idea to wear sandals to avoid this.
I got to jet ski (for an extra charge) out to a shipwreck that was almost five miles into the ocean. You have to go do this! One of the coolest parts of my trip😁
This was so much fun, such a great experience! I really enjoyed seeing all the fish around the shipwreck, and jumping into the water!
I was also impressed with the buffet breakfast they had at the resort, with a variety of yummy options to choose from. I ate at the resorts fine dining restaurant, Su-Ren all four nights. It was delicious, and the chef also brought out complimentary dishes to try every night. Y’all know the dessert was my favorite though, I’m sure all of them were good, but my chocolate lava cake was ah-mazing!
I could write all day about this amazing place, but I’m sure y’all don’t want to read a book so I’ll wrap it up. Overall both of the resorts I stayed at were beautiful, I would definitely choose the shore club over The Palms because its new and very up to date. It’s more of a splurge, but so worth it if you are looking for a romantic getaway, or just looking to relax with the family. Both places are kid friendly too, each of them have kid centers with fun things for them to do during the day, so moms if you need some alone time, the resort has you covered 😊
I hope y’all enjoyed my Turks and Caicos review, be sure to check out these wonderful resorts if you ever go, and enjoy a relaxing vacation!
