Hey friends! I wanted to share a quick post on some of my wedding day vendors I used. I’m so thankful I chose the ones I did, they made my day go smoothly and everything turned out perfectly!
When I started wedding planning, my venue was first on my list to book. Brides start booking over a year in advance, so you have to be quick, especially if you have a certain date in mind! I chose Shady Wagon Farm in New Hill, NC. This place is very special to me, since I had my sweet 15 birthday party there! Since then, I’ve always known I wanted to get married at Shady Wagon, they made all my wedding dreams come true! There venue is perfect for a boho country wedding. The barn is beautiful and the covered area was perfect for dancing and cocktail hour. My wedding planner Monica was THE BEST, seriously! She made sure my day went smoothly and set everything up for wedding day. This was a huge help throughout the whole process to have her help with picking out decorations and vendors. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to have my wedding!
Picking out the perfect florist for my big day was very important to me! Monica (my wedding planner) recommended Daniels florist in Raleigh, NC! I’m so glad we chose Daniels! Kimberly, the owner, did an amazing job on all the flower arrangments and put together exactly what I had imagined for my day! I was going for a lot of greenery and boho vibes!
Choosing the right person for bridal hair on my wedding day was a long process for me, especially since my hair was so long! I was lucky enough to stumble upon an amazing hairstylist that’s new to the Raleigh area, and owns her own salon! Britnye, who owns The Bardot in Raleigh, made my wedding dream hair come to life! I was going for something different, but romantic and boho. It was important to me that I chose a style to keep my hair out of my face, and that would last the whole night. Brit nailed it! My hair turned out beautiful and stayed in place the entire night! Since the wedding, Brit gave me an awesome post-wedding haircut, which I love! Check her out on Instagram to book an appointment!
I did my own makeup for the wedding but my lashes were of course done by Amazing Lash Studio in Durham, NC. I always get so many questions about my extensions, and I can’t say enough good things about Amazing Lash! I have been getting extensions for a year now, and I don’t think I could ever go without them. Extensions are much easier than having to worry about strip lashes on your big day! Not only would I recommend lash extensions for your wedding day and special events, but I also love them all year round. Cut your morning routine in half and be ready to go with perfect lashes when you wake up! Follow Amazing Lash on Instagram and check out all of their convenient locations in RDU!
If you know me, you know I love food! Since I have had some pretty terrible wedding food in the past, it was important to me to find a vendor that didn’t disappoint! That’s why we went with Cookshack Catering. I couldn’t have made a better decision. I didn’t want to have typical wedding food either, we decided to go with homestyle barbeque and fixins. There were also plenty of vegetarian options for me. Throughout the whole process, Cookshack was great with communication, and making sure I got everything I wanted! I got so many compliments on how good the food was, check out Cookshack for your next event if you live in the area!
The best thing we chose to have at our wedding was the photo booth! This was a HUGE hit! We chose Snapit photobooth, and they did an awesome job. Everyone enjoyed taking pictures and getting to bring home a souvenir! I 100% recommend doing a photo booth on your wedding day if you are thinking about it!
❤️All Photos are by Christina Kiger, who owns Magnolia South Photography. She is a dream to work with and was able to capture every special moment of my day! If you are in need of a portrait photographer, Christina is your gal!
Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed my post and vendor recommendations. I hope this makes your wedding planning a little easier❤️
